: Grocery Curbside Pickup and Delivery Options
All,
With the CDC recommending that people wear masks when in public places like grocery stores, many of us are looking for ways to avoid entering these stores altogether. While apps like Instacart offer delivery and pickup options, they require hiring someone to do the shopping for you, resulting in long delays. Fortunately, many smaller local businesses are offering their own delivery and curbside pickup options. Some are now closed to the public, letting only the employees pack these orders for you. I have compiled a list of some grocers, liquor stores, and breweries that offer delivery and curbside pickup. This is by no means a complete or exhaustive list. Try searching Google for more options in your area.

: Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA)
Local 10 is a hiring hall, not your employer. When filing for unemployment, your employer is the company you work for. See the company name on your pay stub (Shea's O'Connell, Kleinhan's, WNY Arena Equipment, Hale Northeastern, etc.). When applying for unemployment, enter one of these companies as your most recent employer.
The CARES Act was enacted on Friday, March 27, 2020. This creates extended unemployment benefits.
Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) provides payment to workers not traditionally eligible for
unemployment benefits (self-employed, independent contractors, workers with limited work history, and
others) who are unable to work as a direct result of the coronavirus public health emergency.
It excludes:
*Individuals that can telework with pay
*Individual receiving paid sick leave or other paid leave benefits(regardless of meeting a category listed above)
